In our classrooms we have been discussing how although we are all part of 'Our School Family', and loved by God, we are all different. We value our differences and are proud to have different backgrounds, talents, interests, and strengths. In order to deepen our understanding of the importance of being unique and special, we invite you and your child to send in a photo or a drawing of something special about your child. We have discussed how we are artists, writers, scientists, gardeners, builders, athletes, ballerinas…a team of friends, and A School Family. When you send in a photo or drawing/painting/poem, done by your child, we will highlight it and display it in the class so that your child can be proud of who he/she is, and also proud to be different, yet part of 'Our School Family'. We welcome your creativity, and look forward to proudly displaying your children in our classroom. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. |
